Privacy and data requests

This policy describes information handled by the Simple Contractor Co. field-operations app and website. The app is for authorized company personnel to manage jobs, timekeeping, production and field reports.
Information used by the app
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, company role and account identifiers.
- Work records: assignments, job addresses, attendance, clock-in and clock-out times, production, materials, time-off requests and review decisions.
- Submitted content: job photographs, report text, customer names and signatures, safety-incident reports and other information you choose to include.
- Precise location: when location permission is granted, the app records clock-in/clock-out coordinates and location updates while you are clocked in and the browser can provide updates. These help check job boundaries and may trigger automatic clock-out.
- Operational information: hosting and sign-in providers may process network, device and request information to deliver and secure the service.
How information is used and accessed
Information supports account access, scheduling, timecard review, job documentation, production reporting and company administration. Authorized office and management personnel can access work records according to their roles. The app uses Supabase for account services and Cloudflare-backed Sites hosting, database and file storage. Service providers process information to operate the app. Information may also be retained or disclosed when required by applicable law.
The app does not contain advertisements or advertising SDKs. Submitted work records are not posted to a public feed.
Location and photo choices
Your browser or device controls location and camera permissions. You can revoke them in its settings. The app receives only photos you choose to capture or upload. It does not request continuous background-location access, and location checks may pause when the app is closed or suspended. Without location access, location-based checks will be unavailable.
Security and retention
The service uses HTTPS and authenticated access. Work records remain stored for company operational, employment, accounting, dispute-resolution and legal needs. Removing an account does not necessarily remove records that must be retained for those purposes. Retained records remain subject to access restrictions.
Account and data requests
To request access, correction, account removal or deletion of personal information, email corey@simplecontractorco.com with the subject “App data request.” Include your account email and the scope of your request. Do not send your password. We may need to verify your identity and explain any records that must be retained.
Review workspace
App-store reviewers use separate sample records. Do not enter real employee or customer information into that workspace.
